Hans Reisetbauer is known for his excellent fine spirits, which are now offered in over 20 varieties. In addition to traditional varieties such as Williams pear, apricot, and plum, the range also includes exceptional flavours like Weichsel, carrot, ginger, or quince.
100% pure Quince Fruit Distillate
A sweet, spicy aroma with a hint of vanilla and a subtle menthol note. On the palate, the quince brandy reveals a zesty, lemony character and showcases the typical varietal profile with pronounced fruit sweetness and richness.
Apple and pear quinces are rich in highly aromatic essential oils and are hand-picked in October from the orchards of our master distiller. Due to the high pectin content and hard flesh, quinces are difficult to crush. Using a fruit mill, they are ground and fermented in stainless steel containers at 19°C for 11 to 12 days. During distillation, quince exhibits a unique phenomenon: essential oils crystallize in the high-proof alcohol, causing a milky cloudiness that disappears through filtration. Each 0.35-litre bottle contains the essence of over 25 quinces, giving this brandy its incomparable fruit sweetness and zesty note.
