The Porer Pinot Grigio originates from the finest vineyards in Margreid and Salurn, combining traditional winemaking with modern precision. The limestone soils impart a distinctive mineral finesse and aromatic depth to this white wine. The wine is crafted through three components: short skin contact, whole-bunch pressing, and spontaneous fermentation in both wooden barrels and stainless steel. This approach creates a multi-layered profile, emphasising freshness and vibrancy.
The straw-yellow colour with a subtle reddish hue highlights the elegance of this Pinot Grigio. On the nose, delicate yet expressive aromas of melon and peach emerge, complemented by spicy and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine reveals a full-bodied, lively character, fresh and fruity with a pleasant dry finish.
An excellent pairing for appetisers, terrines, cured meats, fish, shellfish, crustaceans, and poultry.
