For over 20 years, Hans Reisetbauer has been synonymous with premium spirits and outstanding quality. This philosophy is reflected in all his products – from fine brandies to whisky, gin, and his answer to the world's premium vodkas: AXBERG VODKA.
Axberg is not only home to the Reisetbauer distillery but also the namesake of this exceptional vodka. The small village in the Upper Austrian municipality of Kirchberg-Thening is the origin of the raw material, sourced from the distillery’s own organic Axberg farm.
The foundation of AXBERG VODKA is the robust "Mulan" wheat variety, cultivated and carefully harvested on their own fields in Upper Austria. This wheat variety is known for its clean finish, fruitiness, and low sugar content – ideal characteristics for crafting a high-quality vodka.
The vodka is distilled using the Pot Still method in copper stills until the perfect result is achieved. This labor-intensive process gives AXBERG VODKA its distinctive flavor and smooth character. Impurities and unwanted flavor compounds are meticulously removed through freezing and filtration to meet the highest quality standards.
The design of the AXBERG VODKA bottle also comes from the Reisetbauer house and was awarded the prestigious UK Packaging Award in 2017!
